It's real, and Ghost, Anthrax and Priest are supporting I might go ahead and book one of the foreign dates, Barcelona or Amsterdam! Be a nice little summer trip.

Not a bad idea, I might convince my other half that I'm taking her away to Europe for a couple of days and quietly throw in the fact Maiden are playing coincidently

Yes, you'll have to take it all with a pinch of salt, but it's the era that we were most active in, gigs, buying albums, going to rock clubs etc, so it'll hold nostalgia at least. I'm looking forward to the Roadrunner and Marilyn Manson articles.

I wonder how many Norwegian Black Metal albums will be on the list? I imagine Mayhem at least will be on there.

It annoys me how they bag the issues these days, I can't browse through in WHSmiths etc before deciding whether I want to spend about £6 on them

Does look good though

Hopefully they won't dismiss the early 90's. There were some great rock albums out in and around the time of Nevermind, even if mags like Metal Hammer and Kerrang tried to pretend they didn't exist. - Adrenalize, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, Icon, The Crimson Idol, Keep the Faith,- once grunge exploded.
