The packaging for the new tool albums looks great to me the artwork it beautiful and vibrant feels like there is more to it that what you originally see. After watching a video of the visuals on the screen it looks pretty cool but it is the hefty price tag that ruins it and copies are already selling for $160 on amazon US.

As for the album its self on a first listen its very interesting but one listen is not enough to form an opinion its going to take many many plays for everything to sink in. If your already a fan you will get something from it but if your not you won't.

Metallica S&M2

Must admit I wasn't impressed with the original show. I don't think that the orchestra worked particularly well with the music of Metallica

Agreed. Although i did like it when the Scorpions did it.

I never play the original S&M cd, this will be worse because they'll play inferior newer stuff as well.

A one off concert would be good to attend but i wouldn't buy another album.

Just ordered Black Earth, the debut album from Arch Enemy in special edition format with two Iron Maiden covers as bonus tracks in Music Magpie's £1.49 BOGO half price offer.

Anyone who wants to add it to their wishlist for the future should do so via this link as it won't come up in a search as it's no longer in stock but you will be able to add it.
