I saw Big country about 4 times with Stuart Adamson,
went to see them last night in Manchester,
First time I've seen them since Staurt died,
my friend who never seen them before said it sounded like odd tune they struggled to perform,
Even mark the unpronouncable name drummer was out of sorts at times.
One or two times felt a bit bland and flat,
Some songs weren't as rocky as they should have been,
Now and again felt like one of the players was ahead of them self or someone was a tadge behind because didn't feel like they was quite in tune with each other at the right time,
One of the guitarist hadn't been playing with them long and truthfully you could tell,
They got the crowd going and they loved it,
All in all, was a decent night but in comparison to the original line up the 80-the 90s it was a bit of a disappointment, I'm glad I saw them with Stuart and Tony Butler because if this was my first time seeing them I’d had felt let a little down.

On Sunday saw Aldous Harding in Brighton and have been on a vibe since, She is an interesting person, and i think she is one of the most unique modern singers around these days.

This is pretty much the most mainstream song she sings and i'm pretty sure the costume has a big Holy Mountain/ Mighty Boosh vibe going on, whatever. I like it anyway

Another tune, She's pretty much doing the helicopter playboy girls song from Apocalypse Now routine in this video.

I saw original BIG COUNTRY back in the day and it was a rocking night. Everybody jumping around, it was great.
A few years ago I saw them again at a small venue. The sound was awful. Mixing desk really messed up. The band and the fans were annoyed. The gig was ruined.
