Very cool. It would be good if one of the artworks was the version that comes on the reverse of the DVD in Fulci's Box of Terror.

Hopefully will be. That's what's been shown for the front of the BD, albiet in a zoomed form. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yep, the 2 pieces of art are lovely. Nicer than the BU art in fact, and the yellow case is the icing on a very sweet cake!

Never ever liked that BU/ABUS artwork-the Italian artwork under Lo Squartatore....is far more apt for the film.

I wonder what other pieces of artwork were in the running for the original New York Ripper release but didn't quite make it and may be considered either as the main display cover or as the reverse?

That's true. I hope Shameless will follow Arrow's lead and go for a slipcase allowing for four different covers for future releases.

To be honest I like it this way.
I'd like Shameless to do something different than Arrow.
Shameless is Shameless after all.
2 good artwork choices is enough for me.

Happy new year! May 2011 be filled with yellow cases!

It's looking like the blue border has won out.

I've contacted the guys at Shameless to let them know and have also passed on your views on the artwork.

Watch this space...
