I just relented and bought the limited boxset of the American Ninja films off 88's webstore. I've only ever seen the 1st one and I remember it being pure 80's trash...which is no bad thing!

Now 88, could you not do a Phantasm boxset too?

That's only because you don't have a Blu-ray player and the same set with the films on BD would be worthless to you!

Ah, fair enough. I really wanted that set but have nowhere to put the sphere, so bought the digipack one instead.

I bought the Digipak too. A friend of mine had the sphere and it looked (and felt) really cheap so I decided to stick to the more standard packaging.

With RaVager nearing release, I'm expecting Anchor Bay/Scream Factory to do a joint release venture akin to their Halloween set of last year to capitalise on its release.

You'd be surprised at how good it looks to be honest.

Mine lives on a cabinet in the living room with alabaster figures i brought from Egypt and it just blends in with the surroundings. The silver still sparkles, the paint hasn't cracked or changed colour with age as these things do sometimes.

Phantasm is all a moot point yet as it hasn't been announced so...

...back to topic.

Nah, only joking!
