I'm starting to think one might be Zombie Holocuast, after they posted a Doctor Butcher MD picture

Well lets do some Marpeling-

We know Exposure Cinema announced / hinted that they've got three Italian horrors on their schedule. One is of course Stagefright, the other two are possibly Zombi Holocaust / Mad Doctor and Burial Ground / Nights of Terror.

88 Films are close to finalizing a deal for two Italian zombie films.

HD Masters exist for Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue and Hell of the Living Dead / Zombie Creeping Flesh (which I've just bought the Blue Underground Blu of)

Notable Italian zombie films not already released on blu or oop in the UK include - Zombi Holocaust, Manchester Morgue, Hell of the Living Dead, Zombi 3, Zombi 4, Zombi 5, Zeder, Conquest, Voices From Beyond. Ok the last two aren't strictly zombie films but zombies are in there.

So, I deduce it's...

Not Manchester Morgue for either, as that's with Optimum or Studio Canal.

Is there a possibility that 88 could be releasing the Dr Butcher cut while Exposure release the Zombi Holocaust cut?

I'd say probably not as it's effectively the same film just with inserts, if Exposure are releasing Holocaust they'll probably just include the extra scenes as a bonus like Shriek Show did with their release.

You know they could turn out to be Mattei's last two films - Island of the Living and Zombies the Beginning!

Default 88 Films Upcoming releases

Was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek at High Rising Productions Scream Queens documentary that'll be on Graduation Day. Really enjoyed it. Some great participants and really enjoyed listening to Cassandra Petersen (Elvira), Debbie Rochon, Michelle Bauer & Sybil Danning (who all still look great). And nice to hear that Danning loves Howling II. Looking forward to seeing it again when I finally get the blu-ray.

Oh, and I saw on Twitter that High Rising have a documentary on one of 88's two Italian releases. And yes, I know what they are. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

There's no reason why he can't say.

Cult Labs have no affinity to 88 Films anymore.
