That's good to know, so I don't need to preorder Scarecrows.

I think Prozzie may also be one of the titles.

At least you are using your student loan for something important, rather than wasting it on things like food, lodgings and books!
I actually work hard at my job all week long and study part time in my own time to get a degree in Computing, so technically i'm not the person who the discount is aimed towards but I work hard so I feel like I still deserve it. My loan only covers the education by the way my cost of living is covered by my salary.

When I was at University I used to spend around £10 a week on food and £30 on getting pissed. I actually used to work out how much I could spend on alcohol first thing on a Monday morning, but I loved it all the same, in a perverse way we all used to enjoy the struggle.

The only time I got goodies like films and records was at Christmas or my birthday.

I don't drink, so I suppose I have that in my favour One bottle of Gin lasts me 4-6 weeks

Anyway

88 posted some travel pics yesterday, they had been in Liverpool (where I'm from...) to meet up with Callum and visit HMV where they witnessed a punter buying Evilspeak and Creepshow 2. I wonder if the poor guy knew he was being spied on by the company bosses

They also said that Drive In Massacre is shipping for web orders this week

"Drive In Massacre Blu-ray is now available to order from our webstore - https://88-films.myshopify.com/colle...-collection-19

Just a quick note, due to our usual incompetence we have listed English subtitles on the packaging. This disc DOES NOT have English subtitles. Sorry about that....."

Following disgruntled people on here saying 88 never reply to them, i emailed them regarding their Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers dvd on Wednesday and received a reply this morning.

Took about 36 hours all told, so i don't think that's too bad. Music Magpie on Amazon's marketplace can take just as long.

I think when the subject of the email is more contentious it's more likely to be shrugged off!

Perhaps.

I did reply and thanked Richard for his response and wished 88 future luck and even had a reply to that, which i wasn't expecting.

Maybe a genuine customer question as i asked gets a proper response but the usual bitching doesn't as you say.

Maybe the wording also helps. I didn't use words like ****, shit, tossers, liars, etc etc...

I've sent them many emails during the last year and I've only had a reply to a very few of them. All emails have been appropriate. They were supposed to improve their customer service after they got the packaging/sending stuff out to other people, but to me it seems like things have only gotten worse.

Really hate ordering from them direct, since it's a complete gamble to get any help if there is a problem with your order. :\
