In common with many of you, I'm saddened by the news about Network, but also aware of my own responsibility for its demise because of how many times I added things to my basket and then decided to buy them next time.

I'm also aware of the many things I now wish I had bought and hope will be available at reasonable prices from third-party sellers or the second-hand market.

I forgot about my collection of railway journeys undertaken by Michael Portillo.

I have the first eight series of Great British Railway Journeys, Great American Railroad Journeys, Great Alaskan and Canadian Railroad Journeys, all six series of Great Continental Railway Journeys and Great Indian Railway Journeys.

They are all at the back of a dvd rack three discs deep.

Awful news. Only have a handful of their releases, but picked up a couple today (Kidnapped & Defence of the Realm), before they go out of print.

The Casting the Runes dvd is still available and reasonably priced.

I thought it was excellent.

The Ghost Train dvd is currently £5.99

Although daft as a brush it's become a real favourite of mine over the years. It's alot of fun and slightly spooky with it. The railway station setting i'm sure was an inspiration for one Sapphire and Steel story.

I have The Ghost Train dvd. It's good fun. I have fond memories of watching it on television one rainy afternoon with me Mam.
