...and in less than 24 hours 500 odd films are sold!

Now does anyone have a date for the next three due? The Sisterhood -how can you not buy it with that cover?-, Equalizer 2000 and Wheels of Fire?

I think those titles are being sold through SAE so it won't be as 'frantic' when it comes to buying due to SAE carrying all of the stock rather than the 150 or so copies per title per batch that Diabolik get.

Bill did post this message recently though:

MIGHT RELEASE 6 titles (Blu-ray) per month. more news will comes soon...
Hard to tell when he's being serious or just fishing for reactions in order to gauge interest.

6 a month! Jeez.... when CR first started on Blu ray I thought, "Right, I'll buy them all, whatever he puts out on Blu, I'll collect the lot." And then we had that fiasco of no overseas sales. I nearly gave up then but I already owned 6 or so, so thought, "No. It just means that they are a little harder to get hold off."

Now 6 a month! I hope he does it, really, even if my wallet doesn't! Bill might have a bit of an issue in communicating his thoughts but he does manage to put films out that people seem to want, me included. Now that Screen Archives and Diabolik are handling distribution I'm a happy bunny.

And as a bonus the postie just delivered Shakma, Spontaneous and Retribution.

I only buy the ones that interest me or that I know I like, although those particular titles certainly outnumber the ones that don't interest me.

Of the Blus released so far I have:

Bloodthirsty Butchers
The Eerie Midnight Horror Show
Just Before Dawn
Lady Stay Dead
The Man with Two Heads
Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary
Messiah of Evil
Neon Maniacs
Nightmare
The Redeemer
Savage Streets
Torture Dungeon

with The Devil's Wedding Night, The Night Child and The Obsessed One hopefully on their way to me soon.

Diabolik have 'sent me a package' apparently so these should hopefully be here by the end of next week!

Honesty though, I don't know why anyone can be bothered with their titles when the guy who runs the business has made getting hold of their stuff so difficult.

Having said that I did pop onto Diabolik and picked up The Police Connection, Lady Stay Dead, Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker, Eerie Midnight Horror Show and Devil's Wedding Night.

In future though I will resume my policy of only buying second-hand copies of Code Red titles.

The 3 post apocalyptic films coming from CR are now available to pre order from Screen Archives. Equalizer 2000, The Sisterhood and Wheels of Fire. You can buy them in a bundle that comes with postage to the UK at the $83.00 mark, that's around £54.00 in real money.

It's so much nicer now to collect CR titles with very little hassle. Best thing Bill has done in years so, thanks Bill.
