And yes,the CR dvd is the best release around.
You seem very sure about the repressing of The Visitor Bruno, which is very good news as far as I'm concerned. I will definitely buy a copy of that one direct from Bill as well The Last Chase and maybe some others as well. I wish Mean Johnny Barrows would be reissued as well, but I believe that one sold very poorly.

I like it,it's an early black and white Ted V. Mikels film.

Any chance of re-issuing THE DEAD ARE ALIVE and PRIMAL RAGE?

Some titles can't be repressed because the rights have expired,I think Primal Rage is one of those.
Not certain about The Dead are Alive...that one was available for a very long time.

Btw I don't know when the selected titles will be repressed, only Bill knows.

All the Fred Williamson releases apparently sold poorly.

Didn't Bill cancelled (or refused to re-press) because he was criticised over the release of The Dead are Alive? I believe a scene was missing or something...

I don't think Bill cancelled or refused to repress...
But sales were poor and he was criticised because a German dvd that had the Italian version (not so good quality btw and not English friendly) had a short "erotic scene" which the US print was missing.

"Derived from the US version, it is missing some footage (about 20 seconds) from a sex scene between the park guard and his girlfriend (A VIRGIN AMONG THE LIVING DEAD's Cristina Von Blank) that was probably snipped for an R-rating (I believe the same footage was clipped from the unauthorized Eurovista DVD release which used a 16mm scope 2.45:1 print with some dialogue-dropping splices as its source) but seems otherwise complete." Yes he did!

Quote:
I pulled it out of circulation due to a reviews mention a hairy ass scene was missing. This scene is missing in all releases, but turned up on a vhs in swiss. I was flooded with complaint (most likely non-customers) so I OOPed it. It wasn't selling and way too many trolls claim the eurovista dvd was better release and called my transfer a tape master and a beat up print. Major restoration took place and I was spit on by critics. don't need or sell enough to take the abuse, so I stop the press.
So he actually stopped selling it because of criticism from non-customers. This is not good.

So he didn't repress it but I remember it was still available for a long time after the CR site listed it as oop.
So anybody who wanted it could still have easily picked it up.

Wasn't available for that long. I tried ordering it a few months after it came out and it 'unavailable' and the few copies I did find were ridiculously overpriced.

I guess for Bill/CR a few months is a long time since their stuff is usually only available for a day or so

I like some Code Red titles but Bill need to get more confident on his titles and not take criticism so damn hard.
