It is great. A fun Gothic horror based on Lovecraft's Colour out of Space. Well loosely based anyway.

Don't go in the greenhouse would have been a better title.

Is there a Hammer House of Horror episode with a similar moral I might possibly be thinking of a segment in one of the multiple Amicus portmanteaus

Part of Dr Terror's House of Horrors has creeping vines covering a house and crashing in through the windows but Die Monster Die is all to do with meteor rocks (Clark Kent would be bricking himself) and mutations.

You're right of course, I looked up the episode list for Hammer and realised it was Amicus after all

I like The Colour Out of Space, it's one of my favourite Lovecraft stories. Have you seen Wil Wheaton in The Curse

Yes. I have a US dvd set of The Curse and Curse II The Bite.

What did you think of the Nic Cage film?

I've not seen it, and people seem to have mixed reactions, i'm not ruling it out, but I have higher priorities in my watch list haha

Like Wil Wheaton?

It's a well made film and looks the business with it's colours and imagery but it did nothing for me.

I'm not the greatest Lovecraft fan. Lazy writer. Everything is too hideous to describe.
