Lee Binding's cover art to the season 19 Blu-ray box set initially released in December 2018. It features Peter Davison as the Doctor. Also featured on the cover are (clockwise) a Cyberman, The Master (Anthony Ainley), a Tereleptil and Monarch.

RTD basically admitting in the new DWM that he went to the BBC to take over, not the other way round, and that they weren't even looking for a new showrunner. Chinballs and Whittaker really had basically got the show axed.
I mean, we all suspected it it, but amazing he admitted it in print, mind.

Apparently...

"Doctor Who’s existing budget is set to increase following the recent partnership with Disney+!

The episodic budget will increase from £1-3 million to £10 million per episode.

The show would then become a £100,000,000 franchise with multiple spin-offs."

I call bs. The average episode of game of thrones was $10 million I don't think Doctor who isn't even close to that shows popularity.

He's even got the new Doctor in the comic strip already in the magazine.
That's unprecedented. The old Doctor is always in the strip until the new one begins on tv.
I'm guessing Davies wants the memory of Whitaker wiped from our minds asap.
trebor8273, will graham and iank like this.

It was an article that appeared a couple of days ago regarding the budget. Just speculative. No hard facts whatsoever.

Click bait basically.
