Released next April, The Amazing World of Doctor Who is an audio collection based on the 1976 Typhoo Tea promotional book of the same name. Of its seven stories, two were original Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith short stories; four were reprints from Doctor Who Annual 1976; and one was a reprint of a TV Century 21 Daleks comic. It was available by mail order from Typhoo once you had collected the cards free inside packs of Typhoo teabags.

The above artwork was quite genuinely part of my childhood.

I watched the last episode of The Hand of Fear (1976) last night - a really good story for three of it's four episodes let down a bit by part 4 - followed by the 2020 feature length documentary Our Sarah Jane.

A lovely look at the life of Elisabeth Sladen and her career before during and after Doctor Who. With contributions from Tom Baker, David Tennant, Philip Hinchcliffe, Tommy Knight, Louise Jameson, Alan Ayckbourn, Sadie Miller and many more.

Come the end when Tom choked up i was in tears.
