I didn't like the first dvd of it. Found it proper hard work. I want to buy it as i want the animations to continue (and improve hopefully) but i just can't bring myself to pay £15 for something i'll only watch once.

I'd pay £20 for the Blu-ray normally but the animation is basically Charlie Brown or Mister Men quality or worse and it's really not required in HD.

Having recently re-watched The Talons of Weng-Chiang but on Blu-ray for the first time, isn't it just brilliant.

A perfect bubbling cauldron of Fu Manchu, Sherlock Holmes, Jack the Ripper, The Phantom of the Opera and My Fair Lady in that wonderfully Gothic Limehouse setting.

I'm currently in the middle of the Evil of the Daleks on the BBCI player, it's animated but i noticed the second episode was there separately in the original format so watched that in the midst to compare.
I'm enjoying it, more so than the animated Power of the Daleks.
Shit didn't realise she'd died, when i saw her in Dr Who i was like I know her from something, then realised it was The Likely lads.
