I'm ignoring that so i can watch it on the day.

I've enjoyed the specials, there were certain moments i found annoying, but overall i thought they were a vast improvement over the Jodie stuff, I never had that much of a problem with a female Doctor, it was the stories I felt let her down generally.

With the specials i've had a feeling of anticipation, that half an hour before it came on TV.
If i stuck out the Chibnall years, then i'm not gonna quit when it's getting interesting again, i've enjoyed it so far and am quite happy to take the trip and see where it goes.

(Although personally seeing as they went with Meep the Geek from comics then i'd like to see the Iron Legion get televised at some point.)

It's a genuine single music video release with all proceeds to Children In Need. It's not simply a clip.

The Giggle

Regardless of everything else, Neil Patrick Harris completely dominated every scene he was in. The absolute highlight of the episode and one of the best villain performances the show has seen. Who on earth would've thought that they'd somehow be able to bring back the Toymaker: a villain from 1966, and pull it off credibly?

Fair to say I was engaged the whole time and on the edge of my seat on a couple of occasions. The games the Toymaker played with 14 and Donna were amazing, and seeing Mel again was a joy.

Bigeneration seems to be divisive but I didn't really have an issue. 15 is off to a good start. He's got presence onscreen and he wasn't overshadowed by 14, so I'm confident that whatever happens with Doctor Who in the near future, he'll be good in the role.

About an 8 or 9/10. Haven't decided yet.
