Hopefully your mate is a girl!

The TARDIS is female!

He meant Missy was the TARDIS not himself.

Interesting tidbit of the new episode:

The man playing the bum who Peter got his clothes from is Brian Miller, the husband of the late Elisabeth Sladen...

Personally i couldnt get into it and thought it was bit stupid and silly at points so lost interest half way through. and just sat watching it for watching sake but not taking to much interest what was going on.
I like dr who but not a huge fan so dont really follow cryptic clues etc like some people do.
Only thing that always annoys me is everytime they change the dr they change the Tardis and theme tune as well.
The theme tune is a iconic theme tune so shouldnt be messed with or altered and just leave the original as it is and use that instead.

The little MTDSs and myself enjoyed it after a somewhat shaky start. Apart from having name value did anyone think Ben Wheatley brought anything special to the direction?

Okay I liked Into the Dalek... But I seriously hate the 45 minute runtime. I always have. Its not long enough for Doctor Who and this episode felt very rushed.

If this was the 60's it would be a 6-12 episode epic and there would be no rush!

At least the Season final is a two parter, so we'll have 90 minutes in the story which at least means they can have time to set it up.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'd kill for them to go back to the old 4/6/12 episode format, complete with screaming "noooooooooooo!" as the music kicks in at the cliffhangers.

Yeah, this is one of the (many) problems I have with Nu-Who.

I'm liking the 'darker' Doctor - he is alien and more distant

'My brother just died'
'Yes, but his sister is still alive'

The 'older' Doctors would have tried to comfort Journey, but this Doctor says it how it is

This weeks episode was far better than last weeks, like the darker tone to the character my only criticism would be Clara, for me she just dosen't gel with Capaldi's Doctor. On a side note regarding the ID of Missy...Black Guardian? Recruiting those who have 'died' because of the Doctor's actions. Just about everyone else has been mentioned from the Master to River Song but I haven't seen any mention of him?
