the nihilism of this final episode is quite shocking even today... only in the 70s was this level of grimness allowed.

I enjoyed tonight's episode, although could have done without the use of shit music to lure the spiders.

Think they missed a trick though should have used Lullaby by the Cure, or maybe Boris the spider by The Who.
