That small trailer looks better than anything we got in the Whittaker era. It makes me want to watch it.

I do like the fact they've gone with the original series 1-4 titles in the trailer.

Along with seasons 11-17 in the original series it's by far my favourite.

The TARDIS Tuner which was basically a radio. One of the must have Doctor Who gadgets of 1979.


I never owned one.

Yes but not with the TARDIS Tuner.

I remember that strip / ad. Turgid summed up the Tuner quite aptly.

Going off the strip it seems Romana regenerated into someone else prior to becoming the Astra look a like. Because that doesn't look remotely like Mary Tamm or Lala Ward. It amuses that she nods off when the Doctor is showing off his toy.
