parks and recreation season 5

Leslie now a city council woman face opposition at ever turn from the old boys club on the council, Andy (Chris Pratt) decides to try to become a cop. Ron (my favourite character) meets Dianna (lucy lawless) who he marries. Ben returns from his job in Washington and proposes to Leslie. Tom starts a new business renting his clothing to teens. Chris (Rob Lowe) has a brake down and takes Anne up on her offer, of fathering a child with her and Leslie gets impeached.

13 reasons why.

excellent, deals with the build up/fallout and impact of a teenage girls suicide. shows how cruel people not just teens can be and the failing of the school system. also the suicide victim is not painted out as completely without fault as we go trough the show, we find that she was very manipulative of those around her, while a lot of what happened was awful, she had plenty of chances for things to turn out better. Two scenes were partially disturbing (more than most horrors) the rape and when she does commit suicide.

fantastically written and acted and its my hope the show helps those, seeking Suicide to seek help

now watching Death Note and might watch the pilot of Genius later

Half way through Department S now. Well according to discs i am - 16 eps out of 28.

I do rather like it.

It certainly has it's quirks. Such as leading man Stewart Sullivan (Joel Fabiano) and the fact he is knocked unconscious every episode by a two bit thug, yet come the final showdown he's a cross between Bruce's Lee and Willis.

My only (slight) gripe is that Peter Wyngarde's Jason King isn't actually in it that much. I presumed Wyngarde was the lead but it's really Fabiano that moves the stories along.

Rosemary Nicholls as Annabelle Hurst and Joel Fabiani as Stewart Sullivan.

I made a start on the Marvel Cinematic Universe today, intending to watch all of them in chronological order. As such, I began with Captain America: The First Avenger (the film which is much better that I thought when I saw it at the cinema) and followed it up with the first five episodes of Agent Carter. Peggy Carter is a great character, the surrounding characters and actors, plus the world in which the exist is really interesting, the period design is superb and it's very well acted. I look forward to the rest of the first series and then moving on to the rest of the films and TV shows in due course.

Of the ones which have been released, I think the only ones I don't have are Daredevil and Luke Cage.

I've seen both seasons of Daredevil on Netflix, which I still have, so that's why I don't own them (yet).
