Yeah I had the email for that the other day. So far I've been able to resist . . .

Me too! Its a very reasonable price when 2 are ordered (16 quid each) and even better with 3.

But, if they are not sent separately then we are running the risk with customs like you say:fear: :p

Well, ordered THBTC Ltd for £8.95 .. looking at 2 weeks til supply .. I wouldn't be surprised if my order was cancelled by Zavvi due to lack of stock

I wouldn't panic. I ordered Maniac Cop from them at the princely sum of £5.95 and although I had to wait a week or two they came through with it. So don't worry. ;)

EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES OF ADELE BLANC-SEC limited edition steelbook is currently £9.96 on amazon. Next cheapest is £17.99!

Enjoyable enough film and hard to resist a steely so I just picked up a copy.

I think somebody here, told me that this is a blank steelbook with a sticker on it

Refused 15th July 2012 10:52 PM

It's a pretty ugly steelbook.

Same here so you should be fine. Ordered Vamp and Frankenhooker as well which are on back order. Although, HBTC came with the wrong 2nd disc so I'm guessing Arrow's recall didn't work out very well as this is well after the event.

doolahrock 17th July 2012 07:58 PM

Top marks for Arrow. E-mailed them yesterday about the having the wrong disc in my LE HBTC and the new one arrived today. Fantastic work Arrow.

2 for £10 blu-rays on Amazon (if the super long link works) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/b/ref=s9_dna...rd_i=293962011

Some pretty decent titles. I'd recommend picking up The Revenant as part of the deal, great film for a fiver.

oaxaca 23rd July 2012 09:27 AM

2 things:

1) Zavvi have 5% special rate on quidco for the next 6 days

2) I ordered a BD from AMAZON.CA for the first time last thursday. Expedited shipping was around a fiver and said averages 7 to 14 weeks... Its just turned up this morning! only took 3 working days!!

darthelvis 24th July 2012 06:45 AM

Season's 1 -4 of Twilight Zone on blu ray only £12.99 each on play.com!

Isn't the Expedited Shipping customs free too? Pretty sure I ready that you pay the customs up front therefore circumvent the post office's additional fees.

Im fairy sure that's only on amazon.com... amazon.ca doesn't seem to offer that service

Paul@TheOverlook 24th July 2012 06:57 AM

Okay, cool. Thanks for that.

Well, it seems itz is only valid for seasons 2-4 by now, but that is good, I had won Season 1 here, so thanks for the hint, I have ordered them and now await a hint for a cheap Season 5 - although I am not really in a hurry

Baseball Fury 24th July 2012 02:31 PM

I'd like a cheap Season 5 too, as I won 1 - 4 through here (4 twice!)

oaxaca 24th July 2012 11:53 PM

TESCO ENTERTAINMENT have 15% off pre-orders at the min (code is displayed on their website) and if this is combined with the current 8% QUIDCO cashback rate you can pre-order the UNIVERSAL MONSTERS BD for just £29.84 :D

Beats Amazon's £36!

Has anyone had experience with Sendit.com before? The name rings a bell but I don't think I've ever used them. They've some phenomenal prices.

House by the Cemetery and The Forbidden Zone for £7.49, Maniac Cop for a fiver, Masters of Cinema releases from £9-£12. Well worth checking out.

They even have the entire Final Destination Quadrilogy for £7.95. I'm not big on them, but for that price I can't say no!

Looks like the catch is £1.99 shipping per item.

Seem's very reasonable. May have to check them out at some point.

Yeah I used to use them a lot years ago...untill the free shipping ended :mmph: . . .

oaxaca 30th July 2012 08:19 AM

Sendit are fine, same company as ZAVVI and THEHUT. Generally have the same prices too once the £1.99 delivery per item is added on. They've had a few 10% off's recently.

CD, DVD items in Fopp store on eBay! - Fopp seem to have an ebay store now, with a few bargains on both Blu-ray and DVD.
Got Switchblade Romance and the Bill Hicks blu-ray for £4.25 each.

Nice find! I have some Paypal funds to spend too!

darthelvis 31st July 2012 10:03 AM

Excellent find! I bought The Town, Bill Hicks & Elvis Blu Ray's. Good job!

Delirium 31st July 2012 10:26 AM

Aww missed out on Bill Hicks. ****sticks.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 31st July 2012 10:28 AM

It's great to have a seller like that on eBay – just bought The Town and Magnolia BDs.

PaulD 31st July 2012 10:32 AM

Sod it, just bought the Magnolia BD too

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 31st July 2012 10:33 AM

Just had a look at the PayPal receipt – I didn't know Fopp was owned by HMV.

Delirium 31st July 2012 10:34 AM

Yep, they are.

I was a little confused when I went to my inbox and saw I'd made a PayPal payment to HMV.co.uk!

Slippery Jack 31st July 2012 10:40 AM

Yeah I remember Fopp went under for a good while till hmv rescued them. Wish they'd open one in Birmingham  . . .

Delirium 31st July 2012 10:42 AM

Yeah, I go in the London store a fair bit, but now they're on ebay it's a great way for them to offload stock. I hope they add more Bill Hicks, but if not I may find it instore.

I ended up going for Howl, as haven't seen that cheap instore. For anyone that's a fan of the beats, it's a great movie. I saw it at the cinema.

Gojirosan 31st July 2012 10:52 AM

Thanks for that, bagged the Elvis BD.

My blu-rays from Fopp turned up today - they were HMV exclusive versions too, which was pretty cool.

bigandya 8th August 2012 04:47 PM

I'm shifting quite a few of my Blu Rays cheaply in my ebay store at the moment - a number of them still sealed.

All the Kings Men Blu Ray Excellent Condition, Deja Vu Blu Ray Excellent Condition items in VisualEntertainment store on eBay!
