The English dub of Profondo Rosso on the Platinum release is fully uncut and released without BBFC authorisation.

Afraid so. The BBFC would have passed it uncut last time but the print was a pre-edited one.

The Poundland in Manchester now has Demons 1 and 2 in stock. The covers look dodgy though, in fact Demons 2 promises 'an odyssey of horror you'll nebver forget' (and that's not my typo ).

Fopp have got a load of Anchor Bay stuff going cheap as well, picked up Hatchet for a Honeymoon for £2 and Season of the Witch for £3. I've already got 'em but the Children of the Corn and Scanners box sets are only £3 each!!!

I like a lot of bad films, but there are limits!
Oh dear god,I just bought Sickle today lol

I picked up eight DVD's in my local Poundland:

Aenigma (Lucio Fulci)
Autopsy (A film on the Brain Damage label)
Cat O' Nine Tails
Camp Blood 2 (Mainly because I bought Camp Blood one years ago and never got round to seeing this one although the first was utter tripe, but meh, for a quid, why not)
Demons
Killjoy 1 & 2
Last Cannibal World (Ruggero Deodato, I was suprised to see this one and it was the only one left so bought it, probably a cut version I assume)

Most of them seem to be full frame versions (except Demons) and all of them look to be rubbish quality bootleg versions (apart from the Brain Damage one) but for £8 I bought them anyway.

We aint got Poundland , but a local pound shop in Belfast has just got aload of HardGore titles.
I never knew Driller Killer and Cat in the Brain were released by HardGore. (both uncut) but they were in the collection in HG covers.
I have the UK versions of these , (DK cut & uncut CITB uncut) and they are'nt by HG.

They also got Sci Fi & Kung Fu titles as well, all in proper cases and not those wafer thin ones.

They got some Horror stuff and skulls etc in for Haloween , some of its pretty good looking.

Talking of Kung Fu titles, they have the HKL DVD of "Hand Of Death " at my local Poundland. I'm sure places like ebay and Amazon are asking a lot more for that one.

Word of warning about "The Fear".
Despite the DVD label itself saying "The Fear" (as well as the cover obviously) I found out the film on the disc was "Doomed".

May be a one off, ma be a big batch problem.

I popped into my local Poundland to see if they had Demons 1 and 2 - they didn't but I did pick up:

DEEP RED
BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE
DEATH BED
THE TERROR WITHIN 1+2
NOT OF THIS EARTH
FLESH EATER

They also had 4 other new titles I hadn't seen before:

JIGSAW
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
THE DEAD ONE
BLOOD GNOMES
