agree 100%

I love them also cause they are a different spin on the whole "virus causes zombies" story which has been done so many times that now its getting boring.
I cant wait for Genesis next year to find out the origin of the possession!!!

Any versions out there with better artworK? The SAW inspired cover is hideous. MGM changed the artwork before release, originally it was a pic of leatherface, and then they had to go and change it..the MGM marketing dept strikes again!

Had an Eastwood day yesterday;

MILLION DOLLAR BABY
UNFORGIVEN
THE BEGUILED
FIREFOX

You know,Eastwood is like a malt whiskey, the older he gets, the finer he gets.Especially his direction.

Just watched

The Tortured

On BD. I was surprised how good a revenge movie it was. Not usually my kettle of fish, but it was a prize off of here, so glad I had the chance to watch it. Good direction, great audio and convincing acting from all involved. Violent with a good twist at the end, but I saw it coming well before the end. Recommended though.

Oh mine is up for trade now. If anyone interested, up for swap with BDs. Pvt me if you interested with offers.

I thought Tortured was good but not brilliant. I saw the twist coming too which was a shame.

edit:
Just seen Blue Velvet. Hmm it was not bad but not as good as Mulholland Dr!
It was much more simple to follow and more of a str8 gangsta/crime movie.
Not bad though.

Watched Hush last night. Pretty decent Brit thriller, I'd heard mixed reports about it but I throughly enjoyed it.

Must say the DTS audio on the blu sounded awesome. Not that I'm an audiophile or anything, but I did appreciate how good it sounded.

Naked Rashomon [1972]

Way too much optical fogging spoils this one a bit.

It turns out that the second disc in my Hammer Horror Series set is damaged so could only watch two of the films on the double sided disc: The Kiss of the Vampire and The Night Creatures -- both of which are pretty good Hammer Horror films. I followed those up with The Book of Eli which I found turgid and boring and, once you get to the end, quite ridiculous. Still, Mila Kunis is extremely easy on the eye and seems to improve as an actress every time I see her.
