'Shutter Island', 'Planet Terror' and 'Machete'.

Enjoyed all of them, kind of guessed the twist in 'Shutter Island' midway and that made the movie drag a little towards the end but the production quality is flawless and it did make me think about mental illness. I wonder if Scorcese was subtly mocking conspiracy theorists with this film?

'Machete' a good choice for a few beers, pizza and a laugh (if you're that way inclined) - nice to see Seagal in something enjoyable. Fast moving, colourful and full of hilarious violence...ooh and a Vulcan cannon that doesn't need shells.

'Planet Terror' (not a big zombie fan I'm afraid to say) was pretty good too. Quite gorey, felt the script lacked the humor of other Tarrantino movies and from the get go the plot was only ever heading in one direction ....but it's a zombie movie, what was I expecting?

Just seen I Spit On Your Grave remake uncut.

Well it was prety good, better then most remakes out there and the revenge part was better then the original apart from the off screen castration and last death. Its meant to be unrated and they didnt actully show the gore ha ha

Sorry but just as a little heads up. Planet Terror was Rodriguez's film, not Tarantino's.

I loved both Planet Terror and Deathproof, I know they've been slated quite a lot but for me they were great fun.

I've just finished watching The Road which was one of the best films of 2010 and, before then, The Mole People and Amer -- both very good but very different films!

It sounds like you really need to re-watch the film! I didn't have any problems making out what was said in the phone conversations but it was made quite clear how he ended up in the ground.

Just watched

Street Trash

Not seen it since it first came out on VHS in the 80s ... not the best film, but certainly not the worst. Kudos to Arrow on the print though .. very nice.
