I think the DVDs (Cinema Club, Elite CE) I have of Romero's original NOTLD will do for me, as I find the film about as exciting as watching paint dry.I understand its historical importance though.

This film is my favorite movie of all time. This is the first horror movie I saw and it made me have this weird feeling inside me and I liked the way I felt. I knew horror films would be with me the rest of my life.

It used to my favourite too.

But as my tastes have changed over the years, it has slipped further down my rankings. However, it still remains one of the best of all time, and certainly my favourite of Romero's infamous 'Dead' Trilogy.

Yeah same here. It's the strange otherworldliness that appeals - especially the first act, like a Carnival of Souls style fever dream . . .

I'm not holding out much hope for this, despite Romero's son tackling it.

I'm guessing you don't like his 30th Anniversary edition

It's my least favourite of Romero's original zombie trilogy, but that in no way excludes it from inclusion in my top ten zombie movies. When it comes to Romero's OZT, I tend to go in reverse, with Day of the Dead my all time favourite, followed by Dawn. The 2002 release of Trilogy of the Dead from Arrow, remains a personal favourite of mine.

Same! my order of my favs is back to front day to night in the same order as you.

RE: Russo It's almost as if he hated the film and wanted to ruin it,either that or his "vision" needs a trip to specsavers.
