Apparently, when 'NOTLD' was first released in America, it was second on the bill to one of the Peter Cushing 'Doctor Who' films!

Goddess knows what the kiddies made of it!!!!!!!

My mother rented Mary Poppins from the local video shop when we younger. All was fine for the first 20 minutes until it suddenly switched image. Some funny bastard taped a porno onto the tape.

That's the VHS edition of NotLD that I owned as well. My favourite of Romero's classic trilogy is Day of the Dead, which I saw on its original cinema release with about ten other people in the audience. Even with the censor cuts it was still a pretty strong film at the time. I also bought the UK theatrical poster of 'Day' from Forbidden Planet and had it on my bedroom wall, along with the US theatrical poster of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The only DVD I have of NotLD is the Cinema Club special edition. It does for me as I'm not a big fan of Romero's flick and it's uncut and offers a pretty good presentation of the film. Can anyone tell me which is the best Blu-ray release?

The Japanese release is supposed to be the best of the bunch in terms of PQ. I have the German remastered Digibook which looks decent (at least to my eyes on my set up).
