I watched House on the Edge of the Park last night. David Hess is such a sleazeball, he really ruled. The twist ending did a good job of explaining certain questions I was having during the first two acts, but it still seemed kind of ridiculous. That doesn't kill the movie or anything though. It's just a slight knock that kept it from being a sleazy masterpiece. It will probably still do alright on my ballot. Will anybody else be voting for it?

But no I won't be voting, it's alright as a curiosity piece. But a film which happily sells it's promise of rape & sexual violence along with a cheerful disco number "Do it to me once more" could never be a fav of mine. I know ol' Riz Ortolani liked a bit of juxtaposition, but Jeez!

OK, so Cosmopolis is tough for some people, but...Crash? Mediocre?

It felt a bit limp to me. It just plodded along with no real aim in mind. It was still an entertaining watcg with steller cinematography, just didnt do alot for me.

I was thinking TV Movies would be fine, but I was going to save TV series/mini-series for another poll.
