Attack Force is very entertaining, too. For the wrong reasons, though. Especially the bits that switch between Seagal's voice and Martin Sheen (or that's who it sounds like... not even trying to do a Seagal impression.) sometimes line by line

Oh yes, as you say, entertaining, but in a very crap way. I'd like to see the original version, see if it's a better movie (I highly doubt it though).

Saw the recent Seagal film, The Keeper, in Poundland yesterday! And no comments about how you wouldn't even pay that for one of his films.

I've got that in my amazon basket as part of a blu-ray triple feature for 16.99.
The Keeper is one of the better recent DTV efforts. Well worth a quid.

I saw something very interesting in HMV in Glasgow yesterday. They were selling On Deadly Ground and I noticed that instead of just the English soundtrack of the original (cut) dvd, it now has a few more, including French and I think it also had Spanish and maybe Italian. Has anyonme bought it lately? There's no mention of it on the BBFC site, but with the other languge options, I'm wondering if it's now uncut?

A friend of mine got it and it is uncut, so is the newer Hard to Kill.

(Well uncut as far as uncut can be as they are the same as the U.S. "R" prints that got worldwide circulation anyway

Thanks for that. I knew HTK was uncut and I had a feeling this might be too. I'll order it now.

IMHO Seagal kicks ass. If he was a lawman in Exeter, I'd be going out of my way to get arrested. He is a 7th dan aikido master and would leave almost anyone in a mess of broken bones and agonising pain (fit or as a pied up salad dodger). On top of this he plays good blues guitar and runs an animal shelter.

Nice bloke but I would not mess with him ..... or go out of my way to watch any of his recent movies!

Just got this in the mail yesterday...

They're pretty decent (if barebones) releases and are certainly the cream of the DTV crop.

Did anyone catch Steven Seagal Vs Justin Lee Collins on Five last night? Great stuff, even if JLC annoyed me all the way through it by pronouncing Seagal's surname as Say-gal!
