I'm just the same. I have a load of Herbert hardbacks on shelves in a built in wardrobe which i converted but the books are three rows thick so it's a task looking at them.

£1.99 for this lovely paperback meant it didn't matter if i already owned it to be honest. I know i have it on Kindle anyway.

I've since checked and i have a hardback of it plus a Kindle copy. Still delighted to get this though.

Just this very minute picked up a very nice looking pb copy of the Dover edition of Supernatural Horror In Literature by HPL.

Result!!

Library sale etc.

James Herbert was possibly my favourite contemporary horror author. Unlike King he didn't have to create a work the size of a small house with each novel, he just got on with the story.

Very true. Have you or anyone else for that matter read any Richard Laymon Dem?
