Anyone read any of the Hard Case Crime Collection? It's the upcoming Stephen King novel Joyland that's made me aware of them, and it's a little daunting how many there are . Loving the cover designs, just not sure where to start.

It's also very funny. That opening scene with Deckard and his wife bickering is hilarious. I mean, 'Mountebank Lead Codpieces'!

Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? - Philip K. Dick - Google Books

I like Do Androids... but I think Ubik is his best book.

Sorting thru boxes this morning, I located the book I was reading before the move - 'Slasher Movies', by Peter Normanton, so I put it on top of another box so I would know where it was

Trouble is...I can't find it now!

It seems all I ever read these days are books about Audio Production and mic techniques so as a break from all that I've started on Mick Wall's Led Zeppelin biography-When Giants Walked The Earth again, along with Iron Maiden and Jimi Hendrix, their "story" is one I've read many times before

Just finished Rafa's book on Liverpool's Champions League exploits.

I know it won't interest many on here but there are a few Liverpool fans who frequent the forums, so they may like to know that Chelsea's greatest manager has written a pretty enjoyable tome on his LFC days.

Somebody nicked my copy of Wall's excellent Maiden book - Run to the Hills, a few years ago.

I must replace it if its still in print.

I have the edition with the Brave New World artwork, from 2001 I think, been meaning to update it to the latest 2004 edition for ages but it's pricey these days
Run to the Hills: Iron Maiden - The Authorised Biography: Amazon.co.uk: Mick Wall: Books

I would imagine there'll be an updated version on the horizon.
Also been meaning to pick up his book on Metallica too, which has recently been updated
