I know I mentioned it before but, if you live near / in Belfast then Forbidden Planet have dropped the price of they're games again on all formats, home systems and handheld .
The main guy there took a stroke and I think they may be trimming down a bit, as theres been no current new releases in stock, plus the stopping of the 'trade in' policy and the cutting down in the dvd section, would suggest .

360 games start at 4 quid up and PS3 a fiver and up, plus massive reductions on handheld games, especially PSP.

Well worth a look if your in the area.

MS is to do away with its Premium console and pricedrop the Elite to the Premium's current RRP.
MS will keep the Arcade model as a cheap entry level option to HD gaming and also as a cheap replacement should your old 3 year plus machine 'die'.
Sony's not released a new RRP yet but it should'nt be long till it does , ( 4th Qtr. ? ) but a pricedrop is definate.

Microsoft hinted in their offical mag , and 2 unofficial 360 mags claimed that a price drop in the lead up to Christmas was definete, as was the demise of the mid range mode

I suppose with the GTA4 DLC still not covering cost MS have to get the pennies in from somewhere.

At least the're cutting the price of the black 120 GB Model, and doing away with the now pointless mid range PRO 20 GB Model P.

I wonder why GAME stores HAVE dropped pre owned Arcade 360 to 99 quid.?

Ah well 2 outta 3 aint bad for a lad from the wrong side of the tracks without a press pass. LOL

Anyway PS3 is the better option.
