Postie just delivered Season 3 of Hannibal and the final season of Mad Men. Should help pass the time while I'm recovering from a broken ankle.

Playing football for the first time in about ten years. Fairly innocuous challenge, my leg went one way, my ankle the other.

Viewing everything through the haze of painkillers, I was laughing uncontrollably at 'Come Dine With Me' earlier.

I remember one night we were training and before we even kicked a ball one of the lads was messing around taking shots on an empty goal and what ever way he twisted his foot was point the wrong way when he hit the ground horrible stuff. When the ambulance came after he had the gas he was talking about missing his flight if he didn't wait for the taxi and he couldn't go to hospital

The '31 version is excellent. The '41 version plays out more like a period drama than a horror film, however a stand-out performance from Spencer Tracy means that it's certainly worthy of a watch.

Fond memories of first film and even though I have seen number two I can not remember much, not seen 3. I know a lot of people, as is per normal, say the franchise dips as it goes on.
Attachment 171520

I actually like all the exorcist movies, even though none come close to the classic first. Anything with old nick in wins me over, especially when he comes out victorious!
Attachment 171521

Again, not seen since VHS days and I can remember it being a bit drawn out but some classic actors in it and you cant beat a good ghost story.
Attachment 171522

Never seen this but sounds quirky.
Attachment 171523

Heard good things about this. Anybody seen it yet?:jason:

Even though I have the steelbook I could not resist this as you can never have too much Vincent Price stuff!

I think I paid about £25 for it from Amazon last year, so it might be worth searching elsewhere

As others have attested, Crystal Lake Memories is utterly brilliant.

Ghost Story is 18? I haven't seen it in over a decade but does it really warrant that certificate?

I've been stupidly busy with the college course for the last 7 weeks so i apologise if i have shown these pick ups before.

This is the Vinyl OST for creepshow from Zavii (£19.99) It looks stunning!

Also i got the Zombi Holocaust (second hand) for a few quid, love it. Then i got a few pick ups from Arrow.

Black Sunday was a bit of a gamble for me as i wasn't sure if I'd like it... I'm sorry to annoy folks who like it but i thought it was utter toss so that's going to be up for trades if anyone is interested.

The Vinyl is very cool mate, if Zavvi still have any i can't recommend it enough, i plan to get it framed as most shops like Fopp do frames especially for Vinyl.

Black Sunday was a mistake, I need more Vinny Price in my classic horror. Haha.

Yes I have, it's not great to be honest but worth a watch for a pound. I was a bit disappointed as I thought the concept was quite interesting

'Sacrament', on the other hand, is great

J Harker 22nd October 2015 06:49 PM

Thanks Sam, I'm quite looking forward to The Sacrament, figured Smiley was worth a shot for a quid.
