So many expensive pre-orders...

Happy times!

Greetings!

I don't have a VCR either and, with my home cinema setup, would have no way of connecting one!

Like you, I only buy VHS cassettes for the artwork and for completeness sake – I have four of The Exorcist and about five of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

I've heard it's good. Been eyeing it up myself and I'll pick it up when I've got the spare cash. Cheapest I've found it is about £17-18 on ebay all in. No lossless audio but I can't see it getting another release anytime soon.

That almost looks like a boot but you never know. One Thai store is selling the U.S. BD as it has Thai subs and no mention of a domestic one. Yesasia is also only selling the U.S. one.

I found the youtube video (saw you asking Stephen ) and I'm even more convinced it's a boot now. If you look closely at the disc when he pulls it out, I'm sure it says DVD-9 near the bottom.

It's the DTS-HD on the front that got me suspicious. A bit like how the DTS strip/logo used to be plastered on the front of loads of Asian DVD boots and the US release is PCM.

Ah well, I still want it.

If it's a boot, just get one of the many custom covers that are doing the rounds. There's one that's a total conversion of the original poster.

The cover should be quite professional looking, I don't like using custom covers.

You're not paying much over, it retails around $25-30 here, and I can't find a cheaper one which is why I don't have it yet.
