Been trying to save some cash lately, but caved in and splashed out on the Criterion blu-ray of Royal Tenenbaums. Had a voucher for £1.50 off on MovieTyme, so came to £22.50.

It always hurts buying Criterions.

Picked up a a few from cex during my lunch-break.

U-Turn - I remember watching this late one night, it must of been five years back. I quite liked what I saw, but I fell asleep towards the end. Only cost me £1.

Long Weekend (1978) - I have what I presume is the remake at home, but I'm yet to watch it. This was only £1 and I think it's only right that I watch it first.

Not Quite Hollywood - Documentary covering 'Ozploitation'. I loved those Australian films of the late 70's, early 80's such as Turkey Shoot, Razorback and Dead-End Drive In, hopefully this documentary gives me a few more recommendations.

Killer Nun - Slowly, but surely, building up my Shameless collection.

I also had Django Unchained through the letter box.

Past couple of weeks. Trying to keep Slice & Dice until October, but I feel I will fail miserably. Sainsbury's having a lot of BFI Flipside releases for £6.99 proved hard to resist. Looking forward to that other controversial Oliver Reed film. Nice to finish off Fringe finally. The last set comes in a gorgeous foil effect slipbox (which my picture obviously didn't capture!).

Also bought DJANGO UNCHAINED Steely from HMV at a most impressive £15.99.

Nice to see common sense prevailing, but will it be the same price by the end of the week?
My copy of Rolling Thunder turned up today. Now that's how to do a BD cover!

I also found this for sale today, but I was wondering if it is a fake/bootleg? I thought only Barrel Entertainment did a release of Nekromantik on DVD?

It's a legit German dvd release (re-issue release actually) from J&B (Jelsinki & Buttgereit).

Oh, I did not know that. I'm quite tempted to buy it. I found it for only £25, so it's much more reasonable priced than anything I've ever seen before.
