Play have another exclusive steelbook on the way.

Play.com - Buy Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes: Triple Play (Play.com Exclusive Steelbook) (Blu-ray) online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe!

And there is also a new POTA box set on the way (which would explain why they have started clearing out the old one so cheap).

Planet of the Apes: Evolution Collection Blu-ray 1968: Amazon.co.uk: Charlton Heston, James Franciscus, Roddy McDowall, Kim Hunter, Claude Akins, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Franklin J. Schaffner, Ted Post, Don Taylor, J. Lee Thompson, Tim Burton, R

... and they have my name written all over them

Just been looking through the excellent catalogue that came with BALLAD OF NARAYAMA and it appears Eureka have announced 2 more titles are coming out next year on dual format!!

1) Murnau's TABU: A STORY OF THE SOUTH SEAS (1931)

2) Resnais' MURIEL (1963)

Great news! Especially looking forward to another (semi) silent movie coming out on blu.

I'll definitely be picking up For All Mankind at some point, considering I missed out on the BD only release.

BFI are also releasing many of their ex-BD only releases (including the flipsides) on dual format editions over the coming weeks.

That's great news as I thought it was a 'lost' film which would never been released. I don't write my name on my DVD or BD cases, but I'll definitely buy that one.

Great news! I've actually been looking for pre-order dates for these on Amazon, but these ones aren't listed?

Yeah they are staggering the re-releases. Bad for the patience, better for the wallet Guess that Eureka haven't sent them out to the retailers yet. I'd totally recommend buying from them direct. They have the quickest delivery speeds I've ever known!!

Don't know if it's already been mentioned but Abel Ferrara's original BAD LIEUTENANT is getting a UK release in a few days time:

Play.com - Buy Bad Lieutenant (1992) (Blu-ray) online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe!
