I could stare at the Rolling Thunder box all day and have no idea why it bothers anyone.

Though to be honest, most of that day I would be far too busy thinking, "WE GOT ROLLING THUNDER ON BLU-RAY, WOOOHOOO!" to even care that there's a cover at all.
Pete and dream demon like this.

Yeah, okay, that's a little bit of a fair point there Rolling Thunder on BD with hideous DOUBLE PLAY banner or no Rolling Thunder on BD at all? No question of course. But since it is coming out on bluray...

And about the 100th Anniversary banner on the steelbooks, that's bound to be plastered all over the top, just like they did to ruin their digibooks.
Hopefully the UK steelbooks won't have the banner on the case. Here's the German Big Lebowski steelbook. Notice the card at the top.

Default Upcoming UK Blu-Ray Releases

received the excellent and underrated FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET blu ray from Shameless
i'm not changing covers, as the alternate cover is on my R0 Mya dvd
thanks for a great job with the film, i saw some scenes and stuff on extras
and tbh i thought they sent me the dvd, as all my other bds are said blu ray at top
the bd logo is seen on cover but very unobtrusive
having said that, overall it still doesn't bother me e.g. ROLLING THUNDER etc

I not sure I will get any of the steels. Already got The Thing and knowing about increase in prices it will be £16+ and I aint paying that much for a steel of the exactly same disk I already own.

you got a point there
its like me with blu rays
only if a really sp.ed of a film i really like, and its uncut, extras etc unlike the dvd version of the film, the i will def buy
but there have been lots of examples where i am happy with my dvd
i have R1 anamorphic THE THING and UK blu ray, but if its just a steelcase and no new interviews and stuff, then i won't buy

I will definitely get The Thing, Carlito's Way, American Werewolf In London and Pitch Black, even though I own all but Pitch Black.

I'll get a few of them if they're under £15, otherwise I'll just got the regular editions as they're bound to hit bargain prices.
The Thing, however, I'll probably buy no matter what the cost. Love that film.

I'm avoiding Pitch Black if it's not the Director's Cut. I'll probably be getting those others and Casino if I've got the money. Only have The Thing on HD DVD and swapped my Carlito's Way for Inside Man at Asda.

David Lynch box set confirmed to include

Eraserhead
Dune
Blue Velvet
Wild At Heart
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
Lost Highway

According to*Play.com

I reckon it'll be about £90, but that is easily money well spent.
Rumours of individual releases, so i'll weigh up the best way when they're released
