I think on Amazon the new ones now go for £50+

I haven't looked yet, so thanks for that. Mine is 'as new', so the sale might contribute to the funds for the Hitchcock collection much more than I expected.

Was just thinking about trying these out. I was going to start with the Something Wierd blu, but this is so much better. The ROTLD steelbook was an excellent package, bring on Basket Case!!

Edit: When I first read this all I saw were the Basket Case blu rays and cacked my dacks, but now I noticed there is also ReAnimator, Bride, Society and From Beyond!! Will probably only get the ReAnimator ones out of those 4

Yeah, I was prity hyped when I saw the BC trilogy had been submited yesterday (agast that the beeb demanded an 18 for ANY of the trilogy but there you go) as well as Re-Animater. From Beyond was completely out of left field however and i'm over joyed that where getting it on BD.
Second sight continue to imprese.

Oooh I love Society, very happy! Does that wording make out it's a 4 film boxed set? or 4 individual BDs? Good stuff though, especially if they go to as much care as they did for ROTLD, speaking of which i'd love a release of Part 3, shame they couldn't slot that into the Yuzna set.

That's very good news indeed about the second sight stuff, especially Bride of Re-animator!

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT news!

Blu-ray of Society! I feel faint with glee!

I hope you don't mind if I quote your response from Second Sight on my Facebook?

I'm more elated at From Beyond getting a blu-ray release.

I'm thinking as well, that all of these may be steelbooks. I wonder what sort of artwork we'll see on them.

This would make an amazing steelbook.
