An excellent set of movies that I hope have excellent transfers and high definition soundtracks. I'll have to research the technical specs before I buy it, but it looks like a set that will inevitably found its way into my collection.

Being a UK release, are there any BBFC cuts for horsefalls etc? Been a while since they were last at the BBFC and they seem to be harder on that kind of thing these days.

Nope. Completely uncut. However most DVDs of For A Few Dollars More are missing a brief dialogue exchange at the end of the beating scene, which was intact on the Warner video releases.

The old cinema cuts details to these (including the huge BBFC edits to Fistful) can be found on WWDVD.

Cracking news regarding Leone's Dollars trilogy.
Only thing I'm wary of.....Is FOX distributing it?
Their treatment of a lot of MGM's films on Blu Ray have been nothing short of appalling.

I'm always prepared to buy this 'blind' and hope for the best. There are fantastic and, although I already own the special edition DVDs, I'll quite happily by the BDs for the improved soundtracks.

I'm going to buy the U.S. set purely for the fact that it's called The Man With No Name Trilogy......Yes I know he has a name,(well 3 actually)

Are they both the same in terms of extra features and AV specs?
