As long as it's not like the Arrow Video/Blue Underground City of the Living Dead release, then I think importing will be pretty safe. I do prefer The Man with No Name to The Spaghetti Western but it will depend on how much this set is selling for in the US and how much it costs to get it shipped here as to which one I'll buy.

I've had a little look around and it seems that most places have the U.S. set for over £40.May be better sticking with the UK.

Much as I want that boxset, there's no way I'm paying £40 for it. Amazon have it listed at £32.99 but I'd rather it was more like £25 or so. It's worth considering at that price, but it may drop in the first few months so may just hold out before buying.

Seems to be a fair few people importing box sets from the UK. I went for the UK Godfather and Spider-Man sets for £18 as opposed to over $50 over here but I was so annoyed when i missed that ridiculous £15.99 Dirty Harry deal a little while back. The big ones at the mo are the cheap Amazon UK Bourne and Batman sets. Batman is around $80 at most US retailers and £17.99 at Amazon UK! I'd expect the Man With No Name Trilogy to drop before long.

I'll miss all the cheap single-disc deals here though. Out of the last 20 or 30 BD's I've bought I've paid more than $10-$11 probably less than five times. There's a serious adoption/price war going on.

For old Hammer fans...

Paranoiac

Good little thriller. I have it on the R1 Universal Hammer Horror Collection DVD but definitely something i'd upgrade. I'll take nearly all the Hammers! Now I'm waiting to find out if it'll be region free..

Not a bad film this and quite atmospheric. Gorgeous Purbeck location footage too.

Paranoiac is a neat little psychological thriller from Hammer. They were pretty good at making these too.

As the blob says (do you know how weird it is to write 'the blob says' ) I'd take any and all Hammer's on Blu-ray. Bring 'em on!!

I haven't seen Paranoiac but love Hammer films -- I have the nifty 21 disc box set -- but would certainly consider this as a 'blind buy', region coding providing of course.

If you like the other Hammer thrillers (The Nanny, Nightmare, Die! Die! My Darling etc) then you'll definitely enjoy this one.

If you're in the UK, region-coding won't be an issue, it's a UK release from Eureka! Films.

Hysteria and Maniac are my least favourites. Not a fan of Straight On Till Morning either.

The Anniversary was great fun.
