I've just received an e-mail from Amazon to inform me that Don't Look Now has been delayed until 4th July. They also seem to have dropped the pre-order price to £9.49, which is a steal for such a great film.

It's the same situation at Play.com with the same price and same release date. I don't know if it's a stocking issue or whether the release has been put back for some reason.

I'll e-mail Optimum and see if I can find out what's going on. Watch this space!

I've heard back from my contact at Optimum and the release has been delayed a week to July 4. I'm not sure why yet, but she's going to send out an e-mail today with confirmation of the date change and, possibly, a reason. If there is one, I'll let you know.

Very true indeed. I just pre-ordered it along with Arrow's Kentucky Fried Movie.

Greetings!

Also ordered Don't Look Now, along with The Devil's Backbone.

Love the Criterion-esque blue circle sticker(?) on Don't Look Now

As it's been put back to the 4th of July,I'm hoping Optimum are gonna pull something out of the bag regarding the artwork on this one.
I like the artwork, but something better would be nice.

Interesting news although I'm not sure how many would really interest me. I already have the first one on Blu-ray and would probably need to re-watch the DVD box set before deciding whether to upgrade or not.

Even so, it's great to have the option.
