Ah well, you can't say I tried.

Not to mention a very high chance of an unmolested transfer that will shit all over the old one.

Nice

I think CH is a film that plays best when it's uncut. It's supposed to inspire repulsion and anger in the viewer. It's an absolutely brilliant film and a unique cinematic experience.

In fairness the transfer on the shameless Blu-ray is superb and director supervised. I think the main reason to buy is the soundtrack, bonus and CD.

I thought the Shameless release was pretty decent too.

Went back over it last night. Absolutely nothing wrong with the transfer and up till now the best looking transfer of CH that I have seen. Shall definately be buying the grindhouse disc as well, just means ANOTHER copy on my shelf!

Hopefully this one will be intact because i'm sure that the previous grindhouse DVD was missing some of the 'road to hell' footage.

The Shameless release was DNR'd and had festy scanner noise, like an old Arrow release. Did not like the look of it at all

Exactly! Just take a look at these pics I took from my Shameless BD:

Smeary, waxy DNRed. Far from an excellent transfer.

Yeah,I know.I meant that I keep the 'clothed' side round on that release.
Tits on the cover doesn't 'suit' a film with Cushing.
However, they're right at home with CH.
