not a big fan otherwise
not a fan of Adam Sancller at all!
as regards to Rob Schneider he was funny in BIG STAN, can't remenber the DEUCE BIGALOW films or whatever
Those (like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and its sequel) are the sort of Jim Carrey movies I can't stand – he was excellent in Man on the Moon and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with more straight roles.

never liked ACE VENTURA films
but the other two are shite esp MITM
Carrey portraying Andy Kaufman who was a very unfunny 'comedian' and the opening scene in that film was cringeworthy

Rather like Carrey in Cable Guy. He was also a fine Riddler in Batman Forever.
Sandler was good in Happy Gilmore. That's about it.
Rob Schneider. Ditto.

Watched The Darkest Hour.

I loved the idea of the flick but the script was quite poor and it could have been much better. Overall its a ok movie and there is far worse out there. If your bored then watch this as a rental or something.

Watched the Sorority Row remake. Absolute rubbish. There is one mildly amusing bit involving Carrie Fisher going ape with a shotgun, but other than that it is obnoxiously bad. The influence of Scream has not been a good thing...

Troll Hunter. Kyle sent me this as the surprise prize for the V-day comp.
Actualy this is the first time I had seen it and, it was prity good. I mean really entertaining, nothing thought provicing here or emotionaly moving there.
And despite the complete lack of actual horror (B=spoiler-alert) the scene, using the night vision camera, of when the mountain king troll's enter the mouth of the cave sent shivers down my spine. (E=Spoiler-alert)
Cleverly shot and with epic effects (Yeah most of it's CGI, but it is good isn't it?) Troll Hunter was an excelent movie that I was more than happy with.
Thanks to Kyle for getting it for me to!
Tonight i'm off to watch The Hunger Games with the lady thing. Expect me to be ranting about how it rip's off Battle Royale when I get back!

Can only concur, though it didnt rub me up the wrong way as much as the Prom Night one. Also watched the endlessly amusing Addams Family Values (still sadly in limbo dvdwise??) in between i had a 90 minute phone call from mate STILL enthusing about Snowtown!! This blu must be astounding...
