I put a silly amount of hours into Fallout 3, fantastic game. Whenever I hear music from the 50's and 40's, Fallout seems to instantly spring to mind.

Oh dear, Nos, you always have to probe me...

I admit it: I haven't seen a single Scorsese film from the beginning to the end. Some parts on YouTube, a few trailers, a synopsis here and there - that's it. I never felt the urge to watch any of his films.

You've got me there, Nos. I feel slightly ashamed now, but I thought it would be better to come out with the truth as early as possible.

Sorry but I've just watched this absurd animation by Terry Gilliam for the first time in... well...is it really?...well I never...since The Life of Brian first came out in British cinemas

Here is the other short that was released with The Life of Brian. Listen for the rising mania in JCs voice.

Taken (2008). Was this a kind of dreeeeam?

NO. Lyam Nieeson is paranoid about Europe (funny considering this is where he actually comes from), so warns his rather childish 17 year old daughter from Lost that it would be a BAD THING if she went there.

Guess what happens??

Easily the most fascist film I've seen since The Siege. The Family Guy spoof was spot on.
Aaaaaaand there is a sequel, I believe?? How thick is this girl?? More to the point, how thick does Hollywood think we are???

Holly Valance still cute though.

Ahem. SPOILER CONTAINED WITHIN

American Mary (2012).

Haven't enjoyed a film as much in ages. Great performances all round imo. the only sour note was, much like Ms 45, patriarchal hegemony reasserts itself at the end.

Well, you have some watching to do! Call it a film education if you want, but I consider Raging Ball to be the best film of the 1980s and loads of people prefer Goodfellas to The Godfather. Taxi Driver is a brilliant film about a psychopath and so is The King of Comedy.

I'm not sure what would be the best order in which to watch them, so try chronological, starting with Mean Streets.

Forget Casino, The Departed, Goodfellas, The King of Comedy, and Raging Bull: watch After Hours instead!

Scorsese is my favourite non-horror director, so many classic films under his belt, Goodfellas, Casino, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull being my favourites.

Anyway, just watched Zombie Lake for the first time. WTF!
Gonna have to watch it again because I was distracted by the news breaking about that vile horrible woman who made the 80's horrible dying.
I will say though that I did enjoy it, shite as it really is

After Hours is a terrific film and definitely one to watch if you haven't seen it, or even if you have!
