Silent hill revelations, wasn't a bad film but let's be honest films like these are never going to live up to expectations of the games, but at least it a film that based of the game that try its best to stick to the game, just sit back enjoy the film, after all the film isn't that bad and could have been a hell lot worse,
Only way these films are going to be as good as the games is if the makers and director etc got together,
Just for the record there is another one in the pipeline, But personally I think these are one of the better films based of a game.

Oh...oh...oh...

I had a spare evening, so I watched the Russ Meyer film "Eve and the Handyman"

It was good. Voice-over, childish humour and females with big tits

What more do you guys want?

You have to love Russ Meyer, all his stuff is silly and sexy, sexy and silly and full of enormous bazzongas (I believe that's the clinical name for 'em isn't it?)

I watched a rather strange effort tonight entitled "Demon Under Glass"

From 2002 this appeared to be a direct to DVD offering starring Jason Carter after his stint as a Ranger on Babylon 5. Despite showing it's low budget in every scene it was a decent story and had me watching to the end. This film had no pretensions and gets a generous 7/10 it was only let down by it's budget.

It's been a while since I posted here,so here are my recent viewings:
1)silent epic adaptation of the poem,2)watching this is a great experience..3)early spy film by Fritz Lang,4),5)two great films by Billy Wilder,6)7)8)9)10)11)12)13)I finally introduced myself to Kenji Mizoguchi by watching the Late Mizoguchi set,14)Jules Dassin's classic, the 30+ minutes ''silent'' scene is superb! 15)first movie adaptation of a Tom Ripley book starring Alain Delon,16)experimental short from 1958 that depicts a broadway night though the neon lights,17)different night stories around the world by Jim Jarmusch,18)first part of Aki Kaurismaki's ''Finland'' trilogy,19)Night on the Galactic Railroad ,a unique spiritual anime about life and death based on a novel ,20)an animated steampunk anthology,21)superb german animation about a cat that tries to solve the mysterious murders of cats across the neighbour(not recommended for the forum's cat lovers !!),22)over thirty animators from around the world animate, each of them a verse of a japanese poem,23)very interesting Serbian animated sci-fi that contains one of the most odd sex scenes I've ever seen !! 24)in this beautiful animation, the characters of an unfinished painting enter the real world to convince the painter to finish it,25)better than part 2 in all aspects

The Revenge Of Frankenstein (1958)

Race With The Devil (1975)

ALIEN 3 (1992)

The Evil Dead (2013)
Mmm, had a real hard time getting into the feel of this film. Loved all the gore, but it just was not scary at all. No real sense of dread. More atmosphere in the original.

That was one of my main problems as it wasn't scary – it was just nasty.

Watching Married with Children series eleven at the moment.
Haven't watched many Bluray's lately. Will have to rectify that soon
as my movie room is overflowing with unwatched discs. Nice to
hear that The Blood on Satan's Claw Bluray is getting a lot of positive reviews.
Looking forward to Knightriders on Bluray too.
