In a nearly full cinema.
I saw Nosferatu this evening and it's so much better on the big screen than at home, plus the new HD encoding is superb.

Re-animator

German BD. Decent looking upgrade on my old Millenium Ed. disc. Great depth of field, nice colours and surgical steel like you've never seen it before

It was superb. First time for me and it was magic. The cinema we went to is showing the Herzog remake next Monday night. If it weren't so out of the way I'd try convincing the missus.

Yesterday's watches were:
The Beyond, for me one of Fulci's best pieces of horror.
Martin: I don't know how I feel about this one, it was good but it felt lacking

The Beyond is my favourite Fulci zombie film, and one that I find endlessly re-watchable.

As for Martin, personally I love it. It's my favourite Romero film.

I'm glad to hear you say this. I thought I was he only person who found Martin average. Everyone seems to think it's the greatest modern horror film ever. It DID improve on its second viewing, but still not the masterpiece everyone says it is. I prefered The Crazies.

I think Nosferatu is one of the greatest films ever made. Herzog's remake is probably one of the best remakes I've ever seen and a perfect tribute to Murnau's classic. Also, Shadow of the Vampire is excellent!

I wasn't all that struck on Martin. That said I'm not a huge fan of The Crazies either. I actually prefer the remake.

I'm with you on The Crazies - it doesn't do much for me.

As for Martin, I generally see more negative comments about it than positive ones but it certainly seems divisive amongst fans.
