Sorry folks, I've 'ad a coupl'a days off due to almost terminal "can't-be-bothered-ness"! But I did watch the difficult to comprehend and impossible to summarise "House" or "Hausu" (1977)! It's as crazy as everyone says and more! As mad as a kangaroo whose missus has run off with a pog-stick!

I had a great time watching the film, I sort of get it on one level and completely miss it on many others, even if you figure in cultural differences!

I have to give this strange and colourful beast 24/10 for making me use so many exclamation marks!

Also spinning quickly in the tray was "Tangerine Dream-The Video Dream Mixes" (1996). I love a bit of electronica and no one does electronica like the Germans! Ever since hearing "Autobahn" in the singles charts back in the early 70s I have had a thing for "Krautrock".

The Tangs, as most of you will know, have been at the forefront of movie music since the late 70s when they did the score for Friedkin's "The Wages of Fear" but I have followed them since I first saw them on the "Rubicon" tour in 1975.

If, like me, you enjoy listening to Tangerine Dream then do yourself a favour and carry on listening to 'em! Under NO circumstances should anyone watch this DVD without the aid of mind-altering substances AND as I CANNOT recommend such substances DO NOT watch this DVD, it WILL leave you drooling and muttering "why?"

Musically 18/10, visually -24/10, TOTAL -6/10! A total stinker that no amount of Neutrodol will expunge!

If you're taking the wife something like Rush or About Time might be good, I've heard they're both good films.

Although I saw White House Down and that was good cheesy fun

Watched The Ghoul yesterday afternoon, not a bad movie but for about 30 minutes of the whole movie it seemed like nothing was aactually happening. Then last night I watched Hitler: Rise of Evil part 1. Amazing: Robert Carlyle and Peter Stormare take the show and bring incredible performances

Being October, I try to watch at least one horror/thriller film each day for the whole month.
Oct. 1st: 1. No One Lives 2. High Tension
Oct. 2nd: The Entity

Will try to keep it up to date best I can

I bought it on Blu-Ray just the other day. It's an incredible film! I can't wait to watch it again.

Just finished watching Bubba Ho-Tep. I'm glad to say that my second viewing of this film was just as hilarious and entertaining as the first. I love the music in it (its kind of ironic that a film about Elvis has absolutely no Elgis music I. It!) and it's great seeing an appearance by Reggie Bannister.
