Enjoyable second tier slasher horror which was written by a feminist and also directed by a woman. Clearly as a parody of the genre but filmed as a straight up slasher, thus the film is far funnier than the majority of slasher films and has a higher quota of T&A than many, as well as a healthy dollop of splatter from a killer who uses a battery operated drill to despatch his victims.

Oddly enough scream queen Brinke Stevens has a couple of scenes in this film. One of them - her stalking and subsequent death - i have seen in at least two other low budget films Brinke has featured in. Perhaps she copyrights her death scenes for future use.
I have the Scream Factory Blu Ray it was a blind buy at the time its a very fun film. I really liked the killer nothing to flashy just a denim clad drill wielding nutter just looks like a normal guy apart from the drill of course

Does she know anything about the film? Will be interesting to see how a newcomer takes to the finale.

She only knows what I've told her about it. I've introduced her to a few classics in the last year, her reaction to the Exorcist was priceless, I spent half the time watching her watch it ha ha

Rik i envy you mate, to be able to enoy the film with someone that hasn;t seen it yet is great! I would give me left nut to have never seen the Wickerman so i could experience all that awesomeness once again with fresh eyes. That may seem over the top but i would marry this film if i could i adore it.

Rik likes this.

Ironically I was looking at the few scream factory titles I was missing today and was strongly thinking of getting slumber party massacre, after reading about it here since I just also brought one on ebay I had watched at lunchtime. FFS I am going to boycott myself lolz.

I always thought that Monkey Shines being good was the common consensus.

I thought people liked it as well, but a couple of weeks ago people were talking about Romero films and i don't think anyone mentioned it, so assumed it wasn't that appreciated.
