Session 9
An asbestos removal company are hired to clean up an old asylum. They promise to do the work within the week and are offered a bonus of 10k on completion. As the days go by they gradually start to snap.
This is one I've been told by an old workmate to check out. I'm glad I did. It starts off at a slow burn, but by the second half it picks up.

Horror Express 1972

A British professor discovers prehistoric creature that's been frozen and boards a train which awakes and causes mayhem.

Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing star in this brilliant movie from the 70s that both of them start as enemies in a way and become the saviours of the train. Telly Savalas makes a small appearance as a cossack and seems he enjoyed playing the character.

The film delivers a lot more than good acting, it has a good story and delivers a old fashion scares and atmosphere of claustrophobia with the nowhere to run or hide element. 9 out of 10.

It also has an extremely witty script. - Cushing asking Miss Jones for assistance while she's dining is a great example.

Yeah it does, think Peter Cushing's wife had passed away and with the comedy part helped him through the film.

According to sources it was Christopher Lee who persuaded him to do the film once he's quit. So legend goes that they just chatted as old friends and that persuaded Cushing back on board.

Probably was that, both men appeared in so many movies together that a good working relationship between them both was formed. This w as my first time watching this film and I have missed a treat in a good movie.

You definitely have. It's a fantastic film and one i've watched so many times i think i could recite half the dialogue.

"This is Miss Jones....an excellent technician" says Cushing

"For a woman he means." replies Miss Jones as Lee looks on somewhat bemused.

In my top ten Spanish horrors it ranks #2.

DR Wells:

Miss Jones:
