Good review and totally agree mate, I was lent it by a friend who said it was great and I just couldn't see why he thought that. Maybe as I'm more into my horror I just expected too much from it. Like you say though it could have been a gem given the right people behind it.

The Expendables One of the most enjoyable cinema experiences ever. A total riot. Hilarious cheesiness and great action. 10/10 It's certified 15a here so it means I could potentially bring my baby to see this!!!

River's edge Caught this on MGM HD last night. One of my fave 80's movies with performances from Canoe Reeves, Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper. Without doubt this movie has the greatest soundtrack ever...Slayer and more Slayer.

Robowar - Bruno Mattei rips off Predator with predictably brilliant results. Badly in need of a dvd release.

One for the Shameless collection? Have you added it to the Shameless suggestions thread?

Resident Evil

some zombie action for me last night with the first Resident Evil film, while bearing no resemblance to the video game apart from umbrella and the T-Virus, the film is still a cracking action thriller with the added bonus of Zombies. The major problem with the film is its rather ropey CGI on the Licker creature, it's pure Video game graphics.Fun film.

I certainly have! I would do anything to see Mattei's late 80's Predator, Rambo & Terminator rip offs on dvd.

It could be another trilogy following the Bronx Warriors films and the recent 'Euro sleaze' releases. I guess only Almar and the other good folks at Shameless really know what the next few releases will be.
