The Matador (2005)

Pierce Brosnan plays a slightly unstable hitman who meets a down on his luck exec in a Mexican hotel bar and the two become unlikely friends as Brosnan takes out one final contract.

A really enjoyable black comedy thriller that's a fun if low on morals watch from beginning to end. Brosnan is excellent as the killer who slowly breaks down the longer the film goes on whilst Greg Kinnear is the sensible Yang to Brosnan's Yin.

Special mention to Hope Davis as Kinnear's wife who seems a little too enthusiastic having a contract killer staying for Christmas with them.

Seen this a few times now and it never disappoints.

Terror Force Commando (1986, Richard Harrison)

Yes, you read that right ahem. Our moustache on legs also stars as a man who wears a hat. He also teams up with a local cop when tasked with stopping terrorists who are keen on ending the current Pope's term of office
The swines capture the plod's daughter to further this end ahem.
An Italian production going from the crew names ahem, an accidental find on YT twas ever thus.
Recommended ... if you also love his work with the Ho, though for all that I could follow this one without rewinding scenes

It was concurrent and i'm pretty sure there was going to be a third one before it folded.

But i may have imagined it. Such is my life.

No - you are correct

There was talk of making a film version of the television story 'The Chase', again with Peter Cushing playing The Doctor

I do wonder if the Filmmaker's had a bad experience with Taxi Driver's beforehand, that's why we got this movie.

Quite surprised this hasn't been released in the UK beforehand, as I said, It's pretty tame and certainly have been worse Sexual Assault scenes in Movies. Granted it probably got an 18, but it would have fitted in with either the Tartan, CineAsia or Hong Kong Legends lines.
Apparently it was a Cat III release
