Watched Hellraiser which is still a great film to this day Also watched Universal Soldier: Regeneration. I did enjoy it, but I found it strange as I thought it would be all about Van Damme. But to me he was just a supporting character Anyone else thought that?

Watched The girl next door, one of the most depressing films I've seen. Glad it wasn't too graphic(never thought I'd ever say that)

Martin. Brilliant stuff from start to finish. My new favourite non fang vampire flick

Deep red. Loving this more every time I watch it.

GND is awesome!
It dont need to be graphic to get under your skin!
Its very depressing, i had read the book before I saw it and its not as disturbing as the book if you read it first. The book is incredibly disturbing and dark. The movie is too but they obviously cant do most of the things from the book.

I had it imported from the US (DVD) as I did not wanna wait when it first came out
It took a good 2 years before the UK got the DVD

I've just finished watching Looking For Eric and I honestly can say that it's one of the best British films I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Powerhouse performances from the whole cast, really funny yet really dramatic and touching too. I really didn't expect to love it as much as I did. The "payback" scene was just a work of genius.

Straight after I watched Severence. This was a right giggle at times, a proper horror comedy that actually makes you laugh and wince. The biggest surprise though was actually liking Danny Dyer

yes exactly what I said

Edit:

I just seen the original Haunting!
Right, it had lots of atmosphere and was genuinely creepy. I give the director a lot of respect that in those times he could create that without ANY effects or color. There were seem truly creepy moments in the movie too. I did enjoy it
However, i still prefer Changeling over this as my fav haunted house flick.

Speaking of...anyone here seen the Stephen King mini series - Rose Red??
its basically a mixture of the Hill House story and Winchester Mystery House, it was originally going to be a sequel to Haunting as a collaboration between King and Spielberg but was shelved due to creative differences. King then in 1999 re-wrote it and turned it into a mini series.

I enjoyed it very much too, its creepy and had some good ideas. Fans of haunting should see it.

Havent seen ROSE RED but will do one day soon!!

Just working my way through the DIRTY HARRY BD set. Just watched SUDDEN IMPACT (1982). Its a fair bit darker than all the others (haven't seen THE DEAD POOL yet mind). Its like watching a sleazy Golan-Globus film lol. Fully deserving of its 18 rating. I never knew Clint had it in him
